Overview:
A silver coiled hoop with scale engraving to the outer face, a decorated snake-head finial. Created by an acient artisan carving the motif into metal.
Wadjet, or "Green One," was originally the ancient local goddess said to be the protector of Egypt. She was closely associated in ancient Egyptian religion with the Eye of Ra, a powerful protective deity. She was depicted as the crown of Egypt, entwined around the staff of papyrus and having the all-seeing eye of wisdom.
Serpents are also symbols of rebirth, transformation, eternity, healing and renewal of life.
